Compare two texts or files side by side or in unified view, highlight word or line changes, and download the differences as a patch file.
The diff checker compares an original and a modified version of any text or code. Paste both versions or upload a file into each side, and the changes are highlighted in a side-by-side view with synchronized scrolling or in a single unified view. You can highlight differences word by word or line by line, and ignore case or whitespace changes when they do not matter.
A summary bar shows a similarity percentage and counts of added, deleted and unchanged lines. Swap the two sides, clear them, copy the result as a patch, or download a .patch file. There is also an image mode: load two images and slide an overlay to compare them visually. Files are read in your browser and are not uploaded.
