Decompress .zst, .tar.zst and .tzst files in your browser, preview JSON, CSV, Parquet or text inside, and download the result or a ZIP.
Drop a Zstandard-compressed file and the tool decompresses it on your device. It recognizes the Zstandard header and also accepts files ending in .zst, .zstd, .tzst or .tar.zst. The compressed and uncompressed sizes are shown after loading.
What happens next depends on the content. A tar archive is unpacked into a file list where you can preview each file as text, download it on its own, or save all of them as a single ZIP. A Parquet file is shown as a table (first 50 rows). JSON is pretty-printed, comma- or tab-separated text is shown as a table of up to 100 lines, and anything else appears as plain text you can copy. You can always download the decompressed file. The tool only decompresses; it does not create .zst files.
No. It only decompresses Zstandard data and previews or downloads the result.
No. Decompression, tar extraction and ZIP packaging all happen in your browser.
Previews are capped at 50 rows for Parquet and 100 lines for CSV to keep the page fast. Download the decompressed file to get all the data.
