HAR File Viewer

Open a HAR file to list every network request with method, status, time and size, filter by URL or method, and read response bodies.

About HAR File Viewer

A HAR (HTTP Archive) file is the network log you can save from your browser's developer tools. This viewer opens one and turns it into a readable table of requests, showing the HTTP method, status code, URL, time in milliseconds and response size for each entry. Status codes below 300 are shown in green and all others in red, so problem requests stand out.

Search by URL to find a specific endpoint, or filter to GET, POST, PUT or DELETE requests. Click a row to see its full URL and, when the HAR includes it, the response body text. A sample log is included so you can try it without a file. The file is read in your browser and never uploaded, which matters because HAR files often contain cookies and tokens.

How to use it

  1. Export a HAR file from your browser's developer tools Network panel.
  2. Drop the .har or .json file onto the upload area.
  3. Search by URL or filter by HTTP method.
  4. Click a request to view its URL and response body.

Questions

How do I create a HAR file?

Open your browser's developer tools, go to the Network panel, reproduce the problem, then use the option to save or export all requests as HAR.

Is it safe to open a HAR file here?

Yes. The file is parsed locally in your browser and is not uploaded. HAR files can contain session data, so avoid sharing them publicly.
