Draw and Add a Signature to PDF

Draw your signature with the mouse and place it on the last page of a PDF. Simple local signing that never uploads your document.

About Draw and Add a Signature to PDF

This tool adds a hand-drawn signature image to a PDF. Draw your signature on the pad with your mouse, then stamp it onto the document. The signature is placed in the bottom-right corner of the last page, at a fixed size of about 180 by 60 points, and the signed copy downloads with "signed-" added to the file name.

Everything runs in your browser, so the document stays on your device. It suits quick tasks like signing a form or acknowledgment page. It adds a visible image only; it does not create a certificate-based digital signature, and the position cannot be moved. The drawing pad responds to mouse input, so touch screens may not work.

How to use it

  1. Drop the PDF you want to sign onto the upload area.
  2. Draw your signature on the pad with your mouse; use Clear Signature to redo it.
  3. Click Stamp Signature to PDF.
  4. Open the downloaded signed copy to check the result.

Questions

Where is the signature placed?

In the bottom-right corner of the last page. The position and size are fixed.

Is this a legally certified digital signature?

No. It adds a picture of your handwritten signature to the page. It does not add a cryptographic certificate.

Can I sign on a phone or tablet?

The signature pad listens for mouse events, so drawing with a finger may not register. A computer with a mouse or trackpad works best.
