Convert text to Base64, hex, URL encoding and HTML numeric entities, or switch tabs to view SHA-256 and SHA-512 hashes, all in your browser.
This inspector takes one text input and shows it in several encoded forms. The Encode tab lists the Base64 version, a hexadecimal string built from each character code, the URL-encoded version and an HTML form where <, >, & and non-ASCII characters are written as numeric entities such as <. The Hash tab shows SHA-256 and SHA-512 digests computed with the Web Crypto API.
Results update as you type and each block has a Copy button. Use it to see quickly how a string will look in a URL, an HTML page or a Base64 payload, or to grab a SHA digest. Note that the hex view uses character codes rather than UTF-8 bytes, so it matches byte-level hex only for plain ASCII text.
No. It only encodes and hashes the text you type.
The hex view converts each JavaScript character code, not the UTF-8 bytes, so non-ASCII characters produce different values than a byte-level hex dump.
SHA-256 and SHA-512 are computed locally with the browser's Web Crypto API.
